1] Guiana Chestnut: Affectionately known as " Money Tree", Guiana Chestnut frequently features an eye-catching braided trunk. Just provide it bright indirect light and water frequently (because it's natural habitat is Central and South American swamps.)
Fun Fact: According to Feng Shui, Guiana Chestnut is considered to create 'chi' (positive energy) in the house.

2] Dieffenbachia:  This amazing plant can become your new living decor. Just provide with bright or filtered light [minus direct light] and it is one hell of a happy grower.

3] Schefflera: The elongated leaves of Schefflera gives it a resemblance to an umbrella. Therefore earning its nickname " Umbrella plant". Apart from being visually appealing, Schefflera is a natural detoxifier and air freshener.

4] Asparagus Fern: This fluffy and feathery plant is a fern in name and looks only. It can tolerate neglect. The only care it needs is regular and optimum watering. Also, it adapts well to both bright spots and darker corners. 

5] Cast-Iron Plant: The sturdy beauty cast-iron plant lives up to its name, surviving in conditions where anything and everything can go wrong. It can withstand any neglect you can name; be it under watering or over watering, improper potting mix or poor light.

6] Chinese Money Plant: It is another forgiving plant featured on our list which also goes by the nickname "Pancake Plant." or "UFO Plant"Comment below and let me know whether you find these nicknames #absolutely adorbs. 7] Yucca: Only three things are needed for a happy Yucca: sun, sun, and more sun. Water sparingly and plant in a deep container. These durable beauty has earned the deadly nickname of Spanish dagger for its razor-sharp leaves.

8] Dragon Tree: Wanna add some drama to your regular decor, then save some room and tuck this treasure in an unattended corner. The only care needed for this drama tree is regular cleaning as its spear-shaped eaves are heavy dust catchers.
Just be warned: Dragon Tree is toxic to both dogs and cats, so avoid it if you have pets.

9] Calathea: Believe it or not Calathea AKA "Prayer Plant" is grown for their foliage alone, and it's pretty eye-catching. The purple, green, pink, and red leaves put on quite the show. For lush and lively, keep the soil a bit moist (not drenched) and avoid direct light.

10] Ponytail Palm: This slow-growing ponytail palm likes basking in a bright indirect. Just don't over-water the palm and you have yourselves a unique looking and long-living green companion.

11] Phalaenopsis Orchid: Native to tropical countries, "Moth Orchids" is one of the easiest orchids to grow. Phalaenopsis orchid likes low light and as most orchids, these are pretty forgiving.

12] Philodendron: These large-leafed indoor plants have become synonymous with the word living decor. Available in various varieties, Philodendron thrives with minimal care. Provide indirect bright light and allow drying of topsoil in between watering.


13] Crown of Thorns: Native to Madagascar, the succulent shrub thrives on neglect and produces lovely red bloom year-round. Being a succulent, it doesn't do well if over watered. Otherwise, it's not picky.

Note: It is considered poisonous for pets and children.

14] Christmas Cactus: Another entry in the list of "leave-it-and-forget-it plants" is Christmas Cactus. anything in the cactus family will do, Fried says. Blooming around holidays such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, they produce segmented leaves and tubular flowers of pink or lilac color.
